Full job description

Facility: Lockport Memorial Hospital

Shift: Shift 1

Status: Part Time w/Benefits FTE: 0.500000

Bargaining Unit: SEIU Local 1199

Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No

Work Schedule: Varied with Call Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Hours: Varied start time 7a-4p. Days and hours to vary. On call, holiday and weekend rotation required. May rotate to offsite locations

Summary:

Performs diagnostic medical radiographs and images. All Radiological Technologist positions will perform EKG’s. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served, based on the area of clinical practice. May be assigned off-site. Position may include multisite rotations.

Mount St. Mary’s Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

  • Post High School Vocational / Specialized Training required

  • Current NYS License in Radiologic Technology required

  • Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required

EXPERIENCE

  • On the job training provided.

  • Six (6) to twelve (12) months in radiologic technology preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY

  • Answers telephone

  • Compile statistics

  • Computer

  • Maintain filing system

  • Schedule appointments
