Level 2 - Application Systems Support

This position requires onsite work in Harrison, AR.

This is a Contract To Hire position.

A TEKsystems client is expanding their IT presence in Harrison, AR. They are in need of a Level 2 Application Systems Support resource.

Overview

Acts as the Level 2 Application Systems Support for application and infrastructure portfolios. Provides operational support for assigned application and infrastructure portfolios. Acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and service providers to ensure service stability, incident resolution, and continuous operational improvement. Supports Agile product teams while maintaining adherence to ITSM best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Provide application and infrastructure operational support for assigned business portfolios.

Serve as a primary support resource for production applications, platforms, and supporting infrastructure.

Monitor service health and proactively identify risks impacting system availability and performance.

Investigate, troubleshoot, and coordinate resolution of application and infrastructure incidents.

Support Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management processes in accordance with ITSM standards.

Partner with Agile delivery teams to support releases, deployments, and production readiness activities.

Participate in root cause analysis and help drive corrective and preventative actions for recurring issues.

Coordinate with managed service providers, engineering teams, and vendors to resolve operational issues.

Support service reporting, KPI tracking, SLA compliance, and operational reviews.

Ensure documentation, operational procedures, and support artifacts remain accurate and current.

Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.

Act as a technical escalation point for complex support issues within assigned portfolios.

Support one of several technology portfolios while collaborating with floating resources to address workload demands.

Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrison, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
