Full job description

Employment Type: Part timeShift: Day Shift Description: This position is recommended for applicants who do not have another job or going to school. Responsible for driving a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks and vans. Needs to possess knowledge of local and highway roadway systems. Will provide transportation for clients, supplies, materials, mail and other items using the variety of vehicles. When transporting clients, will be courteous and professional. Will provide ancillary help in other work areas during non-driving times, such as light maintenance or housekeeping tasks.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid NYS driver’s license

  • Familiar with basic vehicle maintenance and travel logs

  • Familiar with the Capital District area, NYC area, Saranac Lake area, and Rochester area

  • High school diploma or GED

Pay rate: $16.20 - $19.74 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
