Impact in this role:
Directs and coordinates the activities of the warehouse including order processing, receiving, shipping and other daily activities while adhering to the ISO procedures.
Areas of Responsibility

Leads all daily receiving procedures and ensures items are received and handled accordingly.

Leads daily picking operation.

Leads daily order processing operation.

Ensures all warehouse associates are performing daily tasks correctly and efficiently.

Communicates effectively on a daily basis with Warehouse Management on issues or problems that need to be addressed.

Responsible for training new hires and ensuring all warehouse associates are following ISO procedures.

Leads daily cycle counting operation.

Assists in developing solutions to specific order processing issues.

Ensures compliance to all warehouse procedures and processes.

Assists with special projects such as capacity planning and new stock projects.

Must be able to become power user of Warehouse Management Systems and Warehouse Conveyance Systems

Execute additional tasks as directed by Operations Manager.
Desired Traits
-
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
-
At least 3 years’ experience leading people in a distribution environment. (Leading people required, distribution environment desired)

Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and conflict management skills.

Maintain strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Willing to learn forklift operation
Physical Demands

Able to lift 50lbs repetitively.

Comfortable climbing ladders.
The compensation range for this role is $24 - $30/hr USD based on experience.
