What you will do:
-
Perform scheduled servicing, repair, and recharging of hand portable fire extinguishers.
-
wheeled units, and kitchen suppression cylinders.
-
Perform hydrostatic testing and repair of fire hoses.
-
Assist on-road technicians with a various assortment of required work.
-
Perform deliveries/pickup at customer locations and suppliers where required.
-
Picking orders to prepare for shipping.
-
Receive and put stock away in designated areas.
-
Maintain general cleanliness throughout the shop and work area.

Repair service equipment where required.
What we look for
Required:
-
High School Diploma or Equivalent
-
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
Preferred:
-
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds
-
Ability to adhere to and always follow safety guidelines and procedures
-
Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision
-
Must have excellent communication skills
-
Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $16.44 - 22.59 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
