The In-Home Aide provides hands-on assistance with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) and IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) to clients in their home.

3-5 years experience working in a home care setting
-
Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week
-
Must be available for day shifts.

Must have valid NC Driver's License and Auto Insurance

Personal means of transportation
-
Good interpersonal skills

Must be very dependable

Must understand and respect client ethics and confidentiality of care Job Duties:
-
Maintain the home in an optimum state of cleanliness and safety.
-
Provide light housekeeping tasks, including such duties as preparation of meals, laundry, shopping.

Provide hands on assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and eating.
-
Provide client with assistance with self-administration of medications.
-
May assist with monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, temperature, pulse, and respirations (if within scope of practice and delegated by a RN).

Report to the Service Supervisor any incidents or problems related to his or her work, immediately.

Report any unusual incidents or changes in the client's behavior to the Service Supervisor.

Follow the client's assigned plan of care.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor.
