Our client, a leading organization in the life sciences and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Mount Prospect, IL
Pay Range: $19.5
Shift: 8AM-4:30PM
What's the Job?

Pick, pack, sort, and store items for shipment or inventory
-
Verify the quality, type, and quantity of received materials
-
Operate distribution equipment safely and efficiently
-
Receive and document materials and finished goods daily
-
Work in various temperature environments including cold and freezer rooms
What's Needed?
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
0-2 years of related experience, preferably in logistics or warehouse operations
-
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and navigate ERP systems
-
Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software
-
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including overtime and different shifts
