Location: Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) Shift: Rotation (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary: Job Description Summary Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is actively seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic critical care team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice advanced, state-of-the-art medicine in a collaborative environment supported by experienced physicians and a dedicated nursing staff. Job Duties: Job Description

Position Highlights:

  • 14 shifts/month with a mix of day and night (nocturnal stipend offered) 12-hour shifts (7 am–7 pm or 7 pm–7 am)

  • Work alongside critical care physicians in a collaborative, team-based model

  • Provide comprehensive care: assessment, planning, education, treatment, and follow-up

  • Learn and perform procedures: Central Lines, Temporary dialysis catheters, Arterial lines with the opportunity to learn others

  • Opportunity to participate in patient-centered research and a variety of improvement initiatives

  • Serve as a patient advocate, liaison, and trusted advisor for patients and families

  • Moonlighting opportunities available for additional income
