Full job description
Amergis Staffing is currently seeking Speech Language for the 2026/27 school year in the Imperial Beach, CA area.
Position Details: Must have CA SLP-CCC license, must be Bilingual (Spanish)
Hours/Week: 40 hours (8:00am-5:00pm)
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Start Date: August 11 th , 2026
Length: 26/27 School Year
Details: Grade Level: TK-6 th Grade School, Caseload 55, Will split between two schools
Pay: Local Rate : $75/hour
Travel Rate: $3,307.50 weekly (for candidates traveling 50+ miles)

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
