Our client, a Cancer Center company, is looking for a Administrative Assistant I for their Irwindale, CA location. Responsibilities:

  • Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple supervisors.

  • Duties may include fielding phone calls, receiving and directing visitors, typing, filing, and faxing.

  • Skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software required. Internet research abilities are also important.

  • Staff in this category may also have the title of dept. asst, coordinator or associate.

  • This role will support the LEAD program with administrative and logistical tasks related to program scheduling, onsite meetings, and events.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within HR department is helpful but not required.

  • Must have exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) as well as excellent organization skills.

  • Min 3 years of experience.

  • They are looking for someone who has learning management experience.

  • They will be helping out with the new hire virtual orientations.

  • They will do things like track attendance, answer questions such as where to get badges, timekeeping etc .

  • Must have outlook and Zoom experience
