Overview

Clinical Intern - Unpaid

Must be enrolled in either a Mental Health Counseling or Social Work master's program in a accredited college or university.

Intern students: 20-25 hours per week.

Practicum students: 10 hours till internship starts weekly

In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced, licensed clinicians in a supportive environment where learning and professional growth are prioritized. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact while developing your clinical voice and confidence.

Responsibilities What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling under supervision

  • Assist with case management, including connecting clients to community resources

  • Support clients in reaching goals related to mental health, wellness, and stability

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care

  • Ability to maintain professionalism, boundaries, and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in an accredited Master’s program (Counseling, Social Work, MFT, or related field)

  • Eligibility for academic credit or field placement

  • Valid driver’s license (Class C or D)
