Job Duties
Maintenance Mechanic
The Maintenance Mechanic is primarily responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production and facility equipment, performed following appropriate safety and productive maintenance systems and processes.
Position responsibilities:

Perform basic preventive maintenance, troubleshooting on standard building, and manufacturing equipment.

Diagnose and perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment to return to safe operation.

Perform lifting and loading items, transporting tools and equipment as directed.

Display in-depth knowledge of basic maintenance skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Perform ad hoc and other duties as assigned or needed in various departments.
Minimum Education Required
High School
Minimum Experience Required
Basic Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
-
One or more years of a maintenance experience
-
Experience with electrical systems and manufacturing
-
Able to use power tools, equipment, and machinery
-
Strong track record of continuous improvement
The qualifications we are seeking for this position are as follows:
-
Manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some HVAC experience, induction furnace experience is preferred.

Prior experience working with ISO 9001 requirements.

Maintenance and Manufacturing: 1 year
