School Psychologist (Full-Time, 2026–2027 School Year)

Maryland

Full-Time | 35 hours/week | 37-week contract

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Position Overview

We are seeking two qualified School Psychologists to join the Department of Student Services for the 2026–2027 school year . This is a full-time, in-person role supporting students across two school sites .

The School Psychologist will play a critical role in supporting students with mental health, behavioral, and developmental needs, as well as assisting in the evaluation and qualification process for special education and additional services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site psychological services to students within district schools

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations

  • Support student mental health and emotional well-being

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families

  • Assist with IEP development and eligibility determinations

  • Maintain accurate documentation using MaxView charting system

  • Ensure compliance with all professional and state standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Maryland School Psychologist License (required)

  • Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred)

  • Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred)

  • Ability to comply with all federal, state, and local regulations

  • Current CPR certification (if applicable)

  • TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if required)

  • Current health certificate (per regulations)

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
