Job Duties

Endurable Building Products whichprovides a wide range of structural aluminum solutions for residential, multifamily, and commercial projects.

Job Summary

The Production Management Trainee is an immersive development role designed to build a strong foundation in plant operations and manufacturing processes. Working closely with an experienced mentor, the trainee gains handson exposure to daytoday production activities while learning best practices in efficiency, quality, and safety. This role offers structured guidance, opportunities to develop problemsolving skills, and room to apply creativity as knowledge grows-making it an ideal launchpad for a future leadership career in manufacturing.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Develops comprehensive knowledge of Company products and procedures through on-the-job training activities.

Develops comprehensive knowledge of panel and lumber grades

Develops knowledge of lumber math and efficient utilization of materials and develops a full understanding of cuts and yields.

Learns how to operate the Company's business system in order to perform required administrative functions.

Develops detailed knowledge of product costing.

Develops an understanding of the production scheduling process.

Develops working knowledge of the budget and expense control process.

Supervises activities consistent with all Company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

Develops working knowledge of Continuous Improvement, efficiency standards, and safety.

Develops working knowledge and understanding of Human Resources policies and practices.

Develops a detailed understanding of operations by touring other UFP facilities and customer locations.

Completes courses and assignments as directed.

Prepares various reports as required.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.

Proficiency in the use of MS Excel spreadsheets is required.

Salary Pay Range:$55,000 - $60,000annually dependent on experience*

*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living

Bonus/Incentive Pay:

Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
