As a Security Officer Unarmed Medical Patrol in Cocoa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting relevant details.

• Maintain accurate activity logs, patrol records, and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.

• Be at least 21 years of age.

• Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
