Successful candidates bring Physical Therapy Degree, Current State Physical Therapy License, and Current BCLS (AHA) Certificate. Preferred (not required): Orthopedic Rehab, Neurological Therapy, Pelvic Floor Therapy, and Vestibular/Balance Rehabilitation.

Overview Department: Outpatient Rehabilitation-Physical Therapy

Shifts Available:  Days

Employment Type: Per Diem (PD/PRN)

Hours:  Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 6 pm 

and Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm ( Hours are flexible)

Location: Providence Medical Center- Kansas City, KS 

 

We are seeking a motivated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing rehabilitation clinic. This role provides one-on-one patient care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on orthopedic rehab, neurological therapy, pelvic floor therapy, vestibular/balance rehabilitation, and aquatic therapy. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering evidence-based treatment, functional outcomes, and personalized care plans while building strong relationships with patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary providers.

 

Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals.

  • Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility.

  • Facilitate physical therapy sessions using exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.

  • Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively.

  • Guide exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries.

  • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care.

Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have: 

  • Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy

  • Current state Physical Therapy license

  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
