Mixer Operator
What You'll Do
-
Operate industrial mixing equipment to make glues and sealants.
-
Follow batch tickets to measure and mix materials correctly.
-
Use a sit-down forklift to move raw materials and finished products.
-
Lift and load materials weighing 50+ lbs throughout the shift.

Monitor mixing processes and perform quality checks.
-
Fill and move 50-gallon drums of finished product.
-
Enter production data and complete paperwork in the computer system.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Requirements
-
1+ year of manufacturing or production experience.
-
Sit-down forklift experience.
-
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.

Basic math and measurement skills.

Comfortable using a computer for data entry.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.
Preferred
-
Chemical mixing or batch processing experience.
-
Machine operation experience.
-
SAP or inventory system experience.
-
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Work Environment

Industrial chemical manufacturing facility.
-
Hot, non-air-conditioned environment.

Frequent forklift traffic and machine noise.

Long sleeves required at all times.

Regular schedule: 2nd Shift (6 PM to 6 AM), rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Training on 1st Shift (6 AM to 6 PM) for 1 to 3 months.

This is a Permanent position based out of Columbia Heights, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
