What's The Role
Manage general financial accounting activities of the organization; credit policy and the organization's creditor and debtor accounts. Management of compliance efforts with the preparation, review, submission, and distribution of financial reports required by governmental and regulatory agencies. Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly balance sheet statements, cash flow statements, and related materials required by investor relations and internal management (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reporting)

Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Function

Monitor and manage disbursements to vendors based on reconciliation of invoices, purchase orders and all receiving documents performed by the Finance assistant.

Monitor and manage remittance Information to be sent to vendors by the Finance assistant.
Responsibilities for Accounts Receivables
-
Monitor and manage the Account Receivable function. Daily tasks are performed by the Finance assistant with oversight from the Finance Manager. Tasks to be managed include:
-
Ensure client invoices are sent in a timely manner
-
Ensure precise records of all incoming payments
-
Ensure clients are contacted as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices and provide support to resolve client queries
-
Provide support when needed to reconcile any irregularities in receipts
Financial Reporting

Point of contact during external audit process
-
Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, including commission calculations for all ITO staff.

Manage payroll, pension scheme and employee benefits
Financial Planning & Analysis
-
Utilize financial data to improve profitability
-
Job profitability reporting – margin reviews
-
Commercial review of new business opportunities
-
Lead the production of annual budget and monthly reforecasts of financial performance against budget & cash flow, financial and operations goals.

Responsible for cash flow management and liquidity
Education and Experience

BBS degree in Business Accounting. ACCA or other professional Finance qualification will be an asset

Big 4 Experience

Professional Accounting designation

Minimum 5 years post qualification experience

Minimum 2 years Industry relevant experience

Working knowledge of CRM & ERP tools – Connectwise & SAP
-
Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management

Knowledge of business and management principles and practices

Knowledge of human resource principles and practices

Knowledge of project management principles and practices

Information technology skills
