Looking for a meaningful Special Education role where you can make a significant impact with a small caseload and strong classroom support? This opportunity offers the chance to work with K-2 students with significant disabilities in a self-contained classroom supported by dedicated paraprofessionals.
Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $41/hour

Hours: 35 hours per week

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM

30-Minute Paid Lunch

Contract Length: 7 weeks (with potential extension)

Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction to elementary students with significant disabilities

Support students' academic, social, behavioral, and functional goals

Required Qualifications

Valid state Special Education teaching certification as required by state and district regulations

Compliance with all federal, state, and local employment requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Current CPR certification if required

Current TB screening and health documentation if required

Adherence to all professional standards of practice
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

Minimum one year of teaching experience

Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Teaching Certification

Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement

Experience supporting students with significant disabilities in a self-contained setting
