Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer to support nuclear surety efforts related to the development, integration, testing, operation, and sustainment of complex defense systems. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical national security programs while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support systems engineering and integration activities for complex hardware and software systems.

  • Perform technical analysis, requirements evaluation, and system verification efforts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program objectives and system lifecycle activities.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, security, and certification requirements.

  • Provide technical recommendations and support system development initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of systems engineering, systems integration, or related experience (5+ years with a Master's degree).

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Experience analyzing and integrating complex hardware and software systems.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. - Active Top Secret Clearance

  • Masters Degree

  • Experience with MBSE and tools such as Cameo and DOORS.

  • Knowledge of systems engineering processes and methodologies.

  • Familiarity with nuclear safety, nuclear security, or strategic defense programs.

  • Understanding of certification and compliance requirements for highly regulated systems.

  • Experience supporting government or defense-related programs.
