Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Acceptance Test Technician - 1st Shift to join our team in Glenolden, PA!

The is a 1st shift position and the core hours are 7 am - 3:30 pm, M-F.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:

The Acceptance Test Technician is responsible for testing products for compliance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and product drawing within the guidelines of internal and customer documents.

In this role, you will:

Utilize test fixtures and test equipment to verify product compliance to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) / drawings and maintain accurate ATP records

  • Complete all required documentation such as test data sheets, time sheets, and routers

  • Perform preliminary troubleshooting and diagnose common failure modes when test failures occur.

  • Works from work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to assemble mechanical components.

  • Prioritize work based on production dispatch

  • Monitor workload and request assistance from leader when necessary to meet customer demand

  • Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.

  • Maintain an organized and clean are per 5S+ standards

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanical environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of testing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

  • Understand basic pressure theory

  • Knowledge of High and Low pressure test vessels and safety precautions when working

  • Proper use of Mil-Spec oils and gasses
