Full job description

Under the direction of a Medical Director, Hospital Administrator, or other supervisory officer in a grade I psychiatric facility within the Division of Mental Health Services and Hospitals, or other institution under the jurisdiction of the Department of Human Services organizes, directs, and manages the activities of the medical records department including statistical compilation and reporting, medical care evaluation and medical records maintenance, and management information systems; does other elated work.

REQUIREMENTS:

CERTIFICATION: Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator by the American Health Information Management Association.

EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of experience in a medical records department of a hospital, two (2) years of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity.

LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential.
