About the Role Join the dynamic team at Sonic Drive-In located on Veterans Memorial Blvd in Metairie, LA as a Team Member. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoy delivering a fun and memorable dining experience. You'll be responsible for preparing and packaging delicious menu items while providing friendly and efficient service to our guests. Enjoy a role where every day brings something new, and teamwork is at the heart of everything we do. As a Team Member, you'll have the opportunity to learn all areas of the drive-in operation, including skating (or learning to skate) to deliver orders, which significantly increases tip potential. Flexibility is key as you'll work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring our customers receive great service whenever they visit. Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. What you'll do
- Prepare and package menu items following Sonic's quality and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the drive-in restaurant and work areas

- Adhere to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards consistently
- Adapt to varying tasks and support other stations as needed during shifts What we're looking for
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Basic math and reading skills to process orders and handle cash
