Job Role Description

Executes physical trading activities to balance supply and demand within the ExxonMobil system, based on signals from Optimizers. Optimizes the value of supply system trades by identifying and capturing highest value opportunities. Focuses exclusively on supply chain balancing trades. Identifies hedging requirements but is not authorized to trade derivatives

Job Role Responsibilities

Collaborate with Optimizers to implement commercial strategies that ensure system balance and maximize value through identification and capture of highest value alternatives

Execute short-term purchases and sales of crude oil, natural gas, petroleum products, biofuels, environmental / emissions credits, power, and related services in alignment with optimization signals

Maintain up to date knowledge of market fundamentals, trading practices, regulations, and standard industry contracting norms

Develop and sustain relationships with market participants to support timely and efficient execution

Ensure all trading activities comply with ExxonMobil guidelines, functional requirements, and applicable regulations

Manage transactions and contracts through the entire supply cycle, ensuring accurate documentation in relevant systems

Participate in optimization strategy development and provide market insights to support value chain decisions

Identify hedging requirements for executed physical trades and communicate them to the appropriate team for action
