Full job description
We're looking for an experienced IBM MQ & App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Administrator to join a leading financial services client. This is an excellent opportunity to support and manage mission-critical messaging infrastructure in a collaborative enterprise environment.
? We're Hiring: MQ Administrator (IBM MQ & App Connect Enterprise)
? Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite)
? Duration: 12-Month Contract
Key Responsibilities:
? Administer IBM MQ & App Connect Enterprise (ACE) environments
? Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot MQ/ACE platforms
? Perform environment management, vulnerability remediation, and production support
? Support Linux-based environments using Shell/Bash scripting
? Participate in an on-call rotation for production support
? Collaborate with Linux and virtualization teams while expanding cloud capabilities
Required Qualifications:
? 8–10+ years of IBM MQ Administration experience
? Hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB) Administration
? Strong Linux administration and Shell/Bash scripting skills
? Experience with troubleshooting, upgrades, and security patching
? Ansible scripting/playbooks is a plus
? AWS experience is a strong advantage
Work Schedule:
? On-call rotation: Approximately one weekday per month and one weekend every two months
