Job Description
Preparing for College & Careers/ECC/ Intro to College
This position focuses on assisting students in career exploration and obtaining college and career information. The individual will provide a wide variety of career information and materials; communicate with students, faculty, parents and community representatives concerning career planning and college entrance. Organize and maintain college and occupational data to provide source materials for students, teachers, parents, and counselors. Maintain current and relevant data relating to job opportunities, careers, technical schools, colleges, scholarships, armed forces, and other programs.
Help students develop physical abilities and healthy habits that can last for the rest of their lives. Organize games and challenges that promote physical activity. Develop motor skills and physical development.
Provide leadership at the school level in the planning, implementation and support of instructional technologies to improve the delivery and service quality of innovative education solutions. Assist and support colleagues in the implementation of curriculum, and instruction at the building level by sharing proven instructional technology techniques and materials. Working closely with the centralized information technology and curriculum organizations, this position will participate in developing and coordinating significant corporation-wide instructional technology initiatives. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all teachers and staff members at the site are provided an opportunity for professional development geared toward classroom effectiveness and student success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must hold a valid Indiana teacher license and be highly qualified.
