Job Description:

Weekend Shift Hours: 7:00am-7:00pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Overtime Available during the week.

A successful Operator will have a strong dedication to safety and quality. Attention to detail is critical to ensuring the highest care is taken with plant equipment and processes. The ability to understand and follow work instruction while maintaining the 6S and key metrics in the department will help drive the success of the manufacturing process.

The position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to safely operate light manufacturing equipment and follow work instructions during Milwaukee Tool Accessories production.

  • Assisting in the maintaining of equipment and plant to Milwaukee 6S standards

  • Accurately recording production data

  • Constantly works to ensure equipment is exceeding performance metrics

  • Ensures timely job changeovers

  • Coordinates with the Department Leads to fulfil Work Orders

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Mathematical and analytical skills

  • Possess proven mechanical ability or aptitude

  • Accuracy and attention to detail required

  • Familiarity with correct PPE wear and safety policies

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School degree/GED

  • 1-2 years of experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment.

  • Previous stamping, deburring, spot welding, experience with automation, or chemical safety experience is a plus

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • The employee may be required to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 35 pounds

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus        

  • Occasional bending, crouching, twisting, reaching

  • Employees may be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain work cells.
