Full job description
Pollo Regio is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, repair, safety, and overall functionality of company facilities. This role ensures that all buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained in excellent condition while supporting operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
This position requires frequent travel between company locations and may involve occasional evening, weekend, or emergency response work. The Facilities Manager must be capable of working in both office and field environments while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Manage the day-to-day operations of all company facilities, including offices, warehouses, distribution centers, and restaurant locations.

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.

Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers.

Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for operational improvement.

Oversee repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, roofing, landscaping, and general building maintenance.

Manage facility budgets, expenditures, and vendor contracts.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, building codes, OSHA requirements, and company policies.

Coordinate emergency repairs and respond promptly to facility-related incidents.

Monitor utility usage and implement cost-saving and energy-efficiency initiatives.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, permits, warranties, and vendor services.

Assist with facility renovations, remodels, and new construction projects.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with vendors, contractors, landlords, and government agencies.

Support company growth initiatives, including site evaluations, new store openings, and facility transitions.

Ensure all locations maintain a clean, safe, and professional appearance.

Provide regular reports to executive management regarding facility performance, maintenance needs, and capital improvement projects.
Requirements

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and general building systems.

Experience managing vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and facility compliance requirements.

Strong project management and budgeting skills.

Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Intermediate to expert-level computer skills, including the ability to use multiple applications and systems daily for communication and documentation.

Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between company locations as needed.

Ability to walk facilities and inspect equipment for extended periods.

Ability to climb ladders and access rooftops or elevated work areas when necessary.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours when required.
