Full job description

Our manufacturing client is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join their team. As a Manufacturing Associate, you will be part of the Production department supporting steel and acrylic rod manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work a very physical job, have manufacturing experience, and work well on a team. Previous farm hands or construction workers would be a great fit for this role.

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Location: Pleasant Hill, IA

Pay Range: $19.50/hour

Shift: 6:30AM - 3:00PM, Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

  • Safely remove steel and acrylic rods from production cookers and handle materials efficiently

  • Lift, transport, and position rods throughout various stages of the production process

  • Remove protective caps and apply new caps according to production specifications

  • Sand and finish rod surfaces to meet quality standards

  • Perform visual inspections and ensure proper handling of products through all production stages

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or material handling is a plus

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
