We're hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our 171-unit apartment community, where you'll play a key role in providing residents with a safe, comfortable place to call home.
We're looking for a dependable team player who takes ownership of their work, delivers excellent customer service, and is ready to grow with a company that invests in its people. Every day brings something different from completing service requests and apartment turns to preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
As a Maintenance Technician at Morgan Properties, You Will:

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues

Complete resident service requests accurately and efficiently

Prepare apartments for new residents through quality unit turns

Maintain the interior and exterior of the community to company standards

Communicate professionally with residents and teammates regarding maintenance updates

Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community environment

Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to emergency maintenance needs when required
Compensation & Benefits

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus

$23.00 – $25.00 per hour

Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions

Morgan Essentials: $300 Quarterly

On-Call Appreciation: $15 per day for holding the on-call phone

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Rotating paid on-call schedule required

Must be available to respond to after-hours emergencies

What We're Looking For

Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation

Ability to live within a 30-minute commute of the community
-
EPA/HVAC/CFC Certification required

At least one year of maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building maintenance

Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on quality workmanship

Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to outstanding resident service

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
