You will collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive health services and advocate for student well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor student health needs within the school setting.

• Provide direct nursing care and emergency intervention when needed.

• Develop and implement individualized health plans.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and district policies.

• Promote health education, wellness, and disease prevention initiatives.

• Coordinate care with parents, school staff, and community healthcare providers.

• Identify health-related barriers to learning and connect students with appropriate resources.

• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

• Current School Nurse Certification or Credential (required).

• Minimum of one (1) year of school nursing experience.

• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

• Current CPR certification, if applicable.

• Current TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray, if applicable.

• Current Health Certificate, as required by state regulations or contract.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
