Job Summary:

We are looking for a BAND SAW OPERATOR that can start working right away. We will train a person to inspect, set-up, measure, and remove excess flash from processed forged metal parts to minimize the final repair effort.

Job Requirements:

• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.

• Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.

• Inspect machinery to ensure that it is in working order, making adjustments/replacements as necessary.

• Perform preventive maintenance as specified.

• Position parts on saw bed, offloads and stacks material in accordance with established procedures.

• Inspect forged parts visually and by touch for excessive metal.

• Maintain accurate part and/or work piece counts.

• Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific travelers.

• Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.

Skill Requirements:

• Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.

• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

• In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person. (U.S. Person = a natural person who is a lawful permanent resident as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

• English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)

• Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.

This role may be a good fit for you if you have had experience as a Polisher, Production Worker, Manufacturing Associate, Construction Laborer, Deburrer, Grinder, Saw Operator, Welder, or Metal Fabricator.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest hourly rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
