Right at Home Coachella Valley is seeking to hire a WEEKEND highly Skilled Caregiver to join a dynamic care team providing clinical expertise in-home. You can make a difference in your career by helping people stay in the comfort of their homes!

MULTIPLE 4,6,8,12 HR SHIFTS AVAILABLE

WE ARE OFFERING A $300 SIGNING BONUS

JOIN OUR ON-CALL PROGRAM AND EARN AN ADDITIONAL $65 / DAY

Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

  • Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom, commode or in using a bedpan, showering/bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, skin, and hair)

  • Ambulation/Transfers/Wheelchair Assistance

  • Eating

  • Dressing

  • Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

  • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.

  • Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom

  • Parkinson's Care, Alzheimer's Care, Stroke Recovery Care, Post-Surgical Care Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):

  • Medication reminders

  • Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises

  • Measuring and preparing special diets

  • Incontinence care

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.

  • 1-3 Yrs of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide (in home care or facilities).

  • Must have open availability Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile in addition to a clean driving record

  • Be able to pass a background check, TB test and Drug Screen

  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination
