Preferred (not required): First OR Assist Duties and EPIC.

Overview Trauma Surgical OR – Advanced Practice Provider
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the surgical service line team working at our Piedmont Columbus campus.
Variable shifts- 14 shifts required per month- mixed am/pm shifts.
Responsibilities In this role you will:

Perform first OR assist duties (optional).

Rounding on patients in the hospital.

Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital.

Evaluate post-operative patients in the office setting.

Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU, CVICU, and provide Trauma support in the ED
-
Assist and or run clinic two-three afternoons a week. Patients will consist of post-op and hospital follow up care only.

Contributes to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization.

Qualifications Requirements
