Insight Global is looking for a Controls Engineer to support a large HVAC customer with a local presence in Kenosha. This person will be a part of a team who are creating hardware design packages for HVAC equipment (ie air handlers, chillers, cooling towers, roof top units, etc.) and writing software on them and then commissioning the systems in the end. Having an understanding of HVAC hardware is required. This company will train on their proprietary BAS (building automation/building management) software – previous experience utilizing a BAS is a big plus! There will be a ton of training available in the team – will be able to train through shadowing opportunities and videos, etc.

Skills and Requirements

-Familiarity of Building Automation Systems

-no programming required

-Strong understanding of HVAC hardware (at least 2 years)

-Ability to understand a sequence of operation/ hardware layout of HVAC equipment

-Local and available to go onsite at Kenosha facility daily
