Our client, a leading organization in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is seeking a Facilities Technician/DOOR SPECIALIST to join their team. As a Facilities Technician/DOOR SPECIALIST, you will be part of the Facility Management team supporting operations across a large, diverse campus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Harvard/Devens, MA

What's the Job?

  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of door and access control systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

  • Perform mechanical inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on doors, gates, and related hardware.

  • Install, configure, and maintain electronic access control components such as mag locks, proximity sensors, and key access systems.

  • Support general maintenance activities including minor plumbing, painting, and furniture repairs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, and regulatory standards across the facility.

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems, especially doors and access hardware.

  • Knowledge of brands such as Stanley, Dormakaba, Tormax, Chase, ASI, Schlage, or similar.

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot door and gate systems effectively.

  • Strong computer skills including Gmail, Google Docs, Word, and Excel.
