POSITION TITLE:

Title I After School Tutor

Our Lady of Hungary School

Hourly rate: Teacher Contract Hourly Rate

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Reports to: Building Principal, Director of Title I

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Title I Academic Tutor works directly with identified Title I students that are failing or at risk of failing providing intervention support in reading, language arts, and math for the after school tutoring program

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of effective classroom teaching experience

  • Thorough and complete knowledge of Indiana Academic Math and Reading/Language Arts Standards

  • Proven leadership ability

  • An explicit understanding of effective Math and Reading/Language Arts curriculum and instructional practices

  • Appropriate Licensing to teach K-8, HQ
