Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Safety Specialist II to oversee daily environmental, health, and safety operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry standards. This individual will conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and partner with operations teams to implement corrective actions that promote a safe workplace. They will investigate incidents and near misses, track safety metrics, lead root cause analyses, and develop training programs to improve employee awareness and compliance. Additionally, the Sr. Safety Specialist will collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement initiatives, support regulatory reporting requirements, and foster a strong culture of safety across the facility. This role can pay between 60-76K based on an evaluation of relevant YOE and education level.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local safety regulations
Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
Experience managing corrective actions and performing root cause analysis
Experience supporting ISO certification and EHS compliance programs
Knowledge of NFPA, IFC, fire codes, and building code requirements
Experience with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), confined space, fall protection, and other regulatory safety programs
Ability to work within advanced manufacturing environments involving automation, chemicals, and electrical system ASP, CSP, CIH, or CHMM certification
Experience with industrial hygiene sampling and respirator fit testing
Experience performing ergonomic and mechanical risk assessments
Emergency response planning and coordination experience with regulatory
