About the Role

As a CBRE Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations for a medical client, ensuring a safe, reliable, and well maintained environment. This onsite Monday–Friday day shift position includes participation in an on call rotation to provide essential coverage.

In this role, you will perform a variety of building maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across multiple facility systems. You’ll help keep critical operations running smoothly while delivering high quality service and support to our client.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.

  • Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing repairs, painting, light bulb replacement, and fixture cleaning.

  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.

  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position is $26.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position is $28.65 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
