SUMMARY:
Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC), a division of Motion Industries, is seeking a Build Shop Technician in West Palm Beach, Florida to work in our Build Shop facility assembling hydraulic and electric assemblies for our customers. This is an opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company.
JOB DUTIES:

Build hydraulic and electrical customer assemblies
-
Operate Hydraulic Test Stand for functional tests as required

Receive and put away inventory
-
Prepare orders for shipment (packing, palletizing, etc.)
-
Interact with computer system to generate inventory pick lists, process orders, shipping, and manage upcoming orders
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
-
Mechanical aptitude
-
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
-
Attention to detail
-
Fluid power experience a plus
-
Work consists of standing at a workbench most of the day
-
Familiarity with common office software applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)
-
Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and multi-limb coordination. Ability to handle material up to 50 pounds.
