POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains facility in a state of good repair. Maintains the facility in a clean and sanitary condition.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Maintains a clean, sanitary environment. Sweeps and mops floors, vacuum rugs, cleans windows, dusts and polishes furniture and cleans bathrooms as indicated in the facility maintenance to do list.

Maintains landscaping and lawns by utilizing lawn mower, hedge trimmer and other various garden equipment. Responsible for raking leaves and ensuring lawns are properly watered and maintained.

Notify management of occurring deficiencies.

Stock and maintain supply rooms.

Follow all health and safety regulations.

Gather and empty trash.

Keeps sidewalks, yards, stairs and around the site, driveways and steps clean from debris.

Duties may require shoveling snow, as well as salt and sand areas.

Keeps bathrooms stocked with paper towels, toilet tissue and soap.

Work schedules and location are subject to change.

Other duties as requested.

Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.

Attend certificate and non-certificate classes given on an annual basis.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalency diploma or experience in general maintenance work. A valid NYS Driver’s License is required.
