Full job description
Synectic Solutions is seeking a Tactical Combat Training System Increment II (TCTS II) Development Systems Engineer (Journeyman) for support to the Naval Aviation Training Systems and Ranges Program Office (PMA-205) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. PMA-205 provides full lifecycle acquisition of naval aviation platform and general training systems, training range instrumentation systems, and distributed mission training centers. The TCTS II is a next generation secure, Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) enabling, air combat training system that offers realistic threat scenarios and secure cross-service training.
Responsibilities

TCTS II design analysis and requirements management
-
TCTS II capabilities upgrade planning and engineering development of complex systems
-
Employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems
-
Plan and oversee Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) events that assess system design maturing, technical health, and readiness for the next development stage

Manage Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development and processing
-
Perform risk management activities, assess and track risk mitigations
-
Perform programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing, and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems
Requirements:

U.S. Citizen with Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university degree
-
At least three (3) years of recent and relevant experience in a position related to the labor category description is required
-
Demonstrated experience in an area of engineering expertise is required

This position will required access to SAP
