About the Position
Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is looking for a professional Unarmed Security Supervisor to join our team in New Iberia, LA .
The Unarmed Security Supervisor plays an important role in supporting daily security operations, providing leadership to Security Officers, maintaining strong client relationships, and helping ensure company and client expectations are met.
This position is ideal for an experienced security professional who is organized, adaptable, comfortable using technology, and enjoys leading a team in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do
-
Supervise and support Security Officers at assigned locations
-
Monitor daily security operations and officer performance
-
Conduct site inspections and provide coaching and feedback
-
Assist with scheduling and maintaining appropriate security coverage
-
Respond to incidents, emergencies, and operational concerns
-
Serve as a point of contact for officers, clients, and management
-
Maintain accurate reports, logs, and operational documentation
-
Help implement company initiatives, procedures, and technology
-
Communicate effectively across departments to support operational goals
-
Assist with problem-solving and resolving day-to-day challenges
-
Support compliance with company and client standards
-
Provide security coverage when operational needs arise
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who brings:
-
Law enforcement, military, or security experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
-
Unarmed security experience and the ability to obtain and maintain required credentials
-
25 years of age or older
-
Valid driver's license and a strong driving record
-
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
-
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
-
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
-
Customer service and teamwork abilities
-
Adaptability and flexibility
-
Scheduling and time-management skills
-
Familiarity with Microsoft programs such as Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive
-
Ability to successfully complete required background, drug screening, and skills testing
Physical & Job Expectations
This position involves active security operations and may include:
-
Standing and walking for extended periods
-
Sitting, climbing, running, and moving throughout assigned locations as needed
-
Lifting up to 50 pounds when required
-
Reading and interpreting written information
-
Communicating clearly during routine operations and emergency situations
-
Remaining alert and making sound decisions in changing circumstances
-
Working 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
