Insight Global is seeking an Insight Global is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to work remotely for an Automotive client based in Newark, CA. This person will drive supplier readiness, execute quality planning, and resolve systemic issues to ensure flawless new product launches and sustained production quality.

Skills and Requirements
-5+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing, SMT processes, or supplier quality engineering.
-Strong knowledge of SMT processes, PCB assembly standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001), and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Familiarity with automotive electronics validation, reliability, and environmental testing (thermal, vibration, HALT/HASS
-Knowledge of SMT line equipment, solder paste, reflow profiles, PCB design rules, and defect analysis techniques
-Monitor supplier KPIs (PPM, OTD, escapes) and drive corrective and preventive actions
-Audit and qualify SMT manufacturing processes: stencil printing, solder paste inspection, pick & place, reflow soldering, wave soldering, selective soldering, conformal coating, AOI, X-ray, ICT, functional test
