Important skills include Revit, ACC/BIM 360 Modeler, BIM Collaboration Pro, Annotations And Sheet Layout, Architectural Detailing, and Project Design. Preferred (not required): Wood-Framing.

Job Description:
Responsible for project design and technical development of an assigned project working under minimum supervision of a Senior Architect or Principal. Working with others on a significant portion of a project. Project role may design or technically focused, or both, depending on the size, complexity and capabilities of the individual.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Thorough understanding of all project phases of work including programming/ conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents and construction contract administration.

Communicates with project team and outside parties regarding specific tasks and / or project related questions and documents the outcome of those communications.

Prepares design and technical drawings and solutions to complex architectural and interdisciplinary problems.

Develops and checks designs and details, collaborates work with others on project team and with outside project consultants

Effectively organizes work efforts and self-monitors time spent on tasks. Implements strategies for correction when tasks take longer than expected or when unexpected impediments to progress occur.

Exhibits understanding of complex building materials and systems, details and construction techniques, primary structural and MEPFP systems and their operation, and secondary building systems.

Exhibits understanding of zoning, building code, and other regulatory requirements as they relate to the project and checks documents for compliance.

Projects will focus more on wood frame construction

Drafts alongside collaborators using BIM Collaboration Pro

Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills/Attributes
-
Bachelor's degree in Architecture (preferably licensed)
-
3+ years post-graduate, full-time professional experience
-
Revit
-
ACC/BIM 360 Modeler - Collaborating
-
A design portfolio and technical drawings portfolio is required.

Have been involved with creating Annotations and Sheet Layout

Have been involved in Architectural Detailing - Building Sections, Wall Sections, Details
-
Should have experience with Multi-family projects
-
Wood-framing experience is a plus but not required
