Full job description
Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst/Manager to support financial planning, performance analysis, and investment oversight for a dynamic organization in Buellton, California. This role combines strategic finance, treasury visibility, and operational insight to help leadership make informed decisions across a diverse portfolio. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, experience building clear reporting for stakeholders, and the ability to translate financial results into practical business recommendations.
Responsibilities:

Direct cash position oversight by assessing liquidity, forecasting funding needs, and identifying appropriate use of excess capital.

Analyze financial and operating results across portfolio businesses to surface key trends, performance gaps, risk factors, and growth opportunities.

Partner with leadership on annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and longer-range planning initiatives that support business objectives.

Create and maintain KPI reporting, dashboards, and standardized management packages for executives, internal teams, and investors.

Perform benchmarking, scenario analysis, and valuation-oriented modeling to evaluate current operations and potential acquisition opportunities.

Review investment activity and fund data, then prepare periodic performance summaries and materials for internal and committee-level discussions.

Monitor treasury accounts and investment transactions, including activity related to marketable securities, mutual funds, and real estate holdings managed by external partners.

Assess contractual financial terms and contribute analytical support for strategic projects such as acquisitions, working capital improvement, and portfolio readiness initiatives.

Deliver real estate finance analysis, including asset-level performance reporting, and provide support on additional high-priority assignments as needed. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

At least seven years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, core accounting practices, and internal control frameworks.

Demonstrated ability to build financial models, conduct variance analysis, and support budgeting processes.

Experience working with data visualization and finance systems such as Power BI, NetSuite, Oracle, Cognos, or Anaplan.

Familiarity with manufacturing environments, property accounting, or real estate finance is highly valued.

CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and work effectively with cross-functional leadership teams.
