Job Description
An Insight Global customer is looking for eight Lead Schedulers for a hyper-scale advanced manufacturing project in Boise, ID. This will be a key role in the project team responsible for the developing, maintaining, and analyzing of project schedules to ensure timely and efficient completion of a crucial construction project and will help to direct the schedule from project initiation to closeout. You will analyze project progress, identify critical path variances, and facilitate weekly work planning. This will be a fully onsite position, with 80% of the work onsite in the trailer, and being in the field at least once/week. This role can offer 35-60/hour depending on range of experience.
Key Responsibilities

Schedule Development: Build detailed schedules from construction drawings, models, and team inputs.

Progress Tracking: Walk the jobsite to verify progress, collect status updates, and input them into the master schedule.

Risk Mitigation: Identify scheduling conflicts, apportion delays, and notify the project team of impacts to critical path activities.

Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information. Facilitate schedule meetings, weekly work planning, and superintendent planning sessions.

Mentorship: Train and mentor junior schedulers and project teams on scheduling techniques and schedule updates.

Reporting: Produce and distribute weekly/bi-weekly schedule forecasts, progress narratives, and reports for cross-functional stakeholders.

Skills and Requirements

3-5 years of project Scheduling experience for industrial large-scale construction (advanced manufacturing etc.) or hyper scale (i.e. data centers)

3-5 years of scheduling experience for a GC or subcontractor

3+ years of experience with Primavera P6

Experience managing 3k-5k line items being scheduled

Strong understanding of processes and ability to self-manage

Proactive team player mindset who can help with other’s work as needed

Demonstrate ability to be a Lead

Comfortable working fully onsite, and potentially 10 hour days + one Saturday/month as needed + Previous Lead experience
