Full job description

About Town Town is an applied AI company building a powerful assistant that makes it easy for anyone to create and use software in their everyday work. Town starts from who you are — it builds a persistent model of your voice, judgment, relationships, and priorities, and does real work on your behalf across email, calendar, docs, Slack, and CRM. It doesn't wait to be prompted: it observes, learns, and acts.

We recently raised a $55M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Forerunner Ventures, First Round Capital, Alt Capital, and Conviction. We're in-person in San Francisco's Financial District, five days a week.

About the Role Town is a true product-led-growth company. People find Town, start using it themselves, and tell all their friends and colleagues. This means multiple users routinely sign up from the same company, so we already have enterprises with real usage inside them. What we don't have yet is anyone whose job is to turn that groundswell into lasting enterprise relationships. In one recent case, a ~60-person company bought an enterprise plan after 20 email exchanges... without anyone at Town ever speaking to them. That's the opportunity sitting on the table.

Today the GTM motion is handled reactively, and there's far more inbound interest than we can keep up with. It's time for our first dedicated commercial hire to own the whole motion, and to help build the function that keeps turning product love into revenue.

What you'll own

  • Turn signal into pipeline. Work the demand already flowing in from the product — turn self-serve signups into conversations, and conversations into enterprise deals. No warm account left cold.

  • Run the full deal cycle. Demos, pricing, negotiation, and close. You own each account from first touch through expansion — the single point of ownership for everything commercial.

  • Get customers to value. Own onboarding, live trainings, and sector-specific enablement so new customers succeed fast and expand.

  • Build the playbook. You're first, so you'll define the motion — what converts, what scales, and what the next GTM hires should do.

You might thrive in this role if you...

  • Are a full-cycle commercial operator. Maybe you've carried a number at a startup and run deals end to end — sourcing, demo, procurement, pricing, close, and expansion.

  • Have been told that you're a like a Swiss army knife with the versatility you bring. You thrive in roles with that rare blend of commercial instinct, product depth, and relationship skill. You can be the trusted owner of an account, not just a closer, because you love going deep on the product.

  • Identify as a builder. You're energized by the impact that you get from the scrappy 0-1 phase more than just executing on a repeatable motion. You create pipeline and process from scratch, and you know that the unglamorous side of being at a start-up is sometimes the most important.

  • Enjoy environments that move quickly where everyone is high agency. You find the work and own the outcome. You decide at 70%, not 90%, and correct as you go.

  • Get energy from working with people in person. We're 5x per week at our office in SF!
