Job Summary
Responsible for scheduling patients requiring admission, diagnostics and treatment services, and classes provided by Prisma Health.
Essential Functions
-

Coordinates the scheduling of patients requiring admission, diagnostic procedures or classes. Sequences multiple tests/procedures as needed. Gathers all required patient demographic, clinical and financial information. Coordinates appointments and classes with the appropriate clinical and clerical staff.

Coordinates physician scheduling with the on-call schedulers

Follows protocols for "day of", prep instructions, emergencies, and rescheduling.

Communicates with physician office representatives in a professional and efficient manner.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Education - High School diploma or equivalent or post-high school diploma / highest degree earned

Experience - Three (3) years related work experience
