Manufacturing Associate

Location: Plainville, MA

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Multiple shifts available; overtime may be available

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated Manufacturing Associates to join a growing production team in Plainville, MA. This role is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating equipment, performing inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and production activities according to established procedures

  • Operate and monitor production equipment and machinery

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines

  • Complete production documentation accurately and legibly

  • Conduct quality inspections and identify defects or discrepancies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Support inventory movement and material handling activities as needed

  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality requirements where applicable

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs

QualificationsRequired

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Basic computer skills

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Preferred

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or machine operation

  • Experience in a GMP, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food manufacturing, or other regulated environment

  • Experience completing production documentation or quality records

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and assembly tasks

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
